Yumi Okada, violin
Fumi Masugata, piano
A native of Japan, Yumi Okada earned her Bachelor of Arts from Fine Arts University of Aichi, Performance Diploma at Indiana University, and Masters Degree from Longy School of Music in Boston.
A winner of multiple competitions in Japan and the U.S., she is concert master of the Washington Sinfonietta and member of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.
Fumi Masugata, born in Japan, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Presently she is a candidate for a Masters in Music at Longy School of Music in Boston. A winner of many chamber music competitions abroad, she has performed at Carnegie Hall and Boston Symphony Hall.
Their program will include works by Schubert, Ravel, Wieniavski, Mozart, Kreisler, and Beethoven.
