Eugene Roan, organ

Eugene Roan, organ and harpsichord is professor emeritus, and former chair of the organ, harpsichord, and piano department at Westminster Choir College of Ryder University in Princeton, NJ where he has taught since 1956. He is a graduate of Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and Westminster Choir College. Roan will offer a program of music by Sweelinck, Scheidemann, Scheidt, Valerius, and Weckmann, composers active in Amsterdam during the age of Rembrandt van Rijn, marking the 400th anniversary of his birth.
